Are you opposed to the H1N1-loaded seasonal flu shot? If you are a healthcare worker, it may soon be mandated that you receive the shot. A federal advisory committee has called on hospitals and healthcare clinics to make the seasonal flu shot mandatory for all employees, a move that disregards previous findings about the effectiveness of the flu vaccine.
Only about 40% of healthcare workers have chosen to be vaccinated with the seasonal flu shot in recent years, even with the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and other mainstream health organizations encouraging them to receive one. In 2009 during the phony H1N1 ‘pandemic’, that number jumped to 62 percent, according to CDC data.

What the advisory committee fails to mention is that there is a shocking lack of evidence supporting the effectiveness of the flu vaccine — in certain healthcare workers in particular. Amazingly, even mainstream medical science goes against the effectiveness of flu vaccine. The Cochrane Database Review, revered among the evidence-based medical community, does not lend clear scientific support to the concept that flu vaccines are safe and effective.
In fact, the reviews reveal that there is a severe lack of evidence proving flu shots to be effective in healthy adults, children under 2, the elderly, and healthcare workers who care for the elderly.
In addition, there are a number of serious side effects associated with the H1N1 vaccine which is now combined with the regular flu shot, including:
- Guillain–Barré syndrome
- Narcolepsy
- Paralysis
- Death
- Immune system disorders
- Blood and lymphatic disorders
- Neuropathy
Before urging healthcare facilities to mandate the flu shot on all employees, perhaps the federal advisory committee responsible for the declaration should examine the true effectiveness and risk of the flu vaccine.
